Attorney Dan DeFeo Featured In the News for Involvement in GM Ignition Switch Lawsuit

|

Contact us Attorney Dan DeFeo – partner at DeFeo & Kolker, LLC – has recently been featured in a news article related to his involvement in a recall litigation team that is going up against General Motors after its ignition switch fiasco.

The article in the Danbury NewsTimes stated that the litigation team is being led by Fairfield County attorney Augie Ribeiro, who has "joined forces" with Attorney Dan DeFeo, as well as Attorney Ronnie Penton of Louisiana. The article describes Attorney DeFeo as having "successfully fought automakers for decades."

Attorney DeFeo is quoted and paraphrased in the article on multiple occasions and also mentions a recent $23 million verdict against Ford for a woman who was left a paraplegic due to her Ford Explorer. DeFeo is quoted as saying that any level of compensation from GM would be inadequate due to the "level of conduct the company should be penalized for."

DeFeo is also quoted as saying that this GM case is "a clear case of fraudulent concealment." He states that there is reason to believe that GM knew of the ignition switch problems as early as 2005, but failed to do anything about it.

The GM class-action litigation team is representing over 200 clients who have suffered personal injury, property damage and devalue, and wrongful death due to faulty ignition switches in GM vehicles. Have you been seriously injured or lost a loved one because of ignition switch failure in a GM vehicle? You could join this group of individuals seeking compensation.
